Show Ponies
A cowgirl mounted shooter provided me with
the idea for these hair cuffs. It is my understanding that they are quite
popular in that venue and I thought they’d translate to show clothing quite
well. I have since dubbed them “SHOW PONIES.”
They are easy to use. Just put your hair
in a ponytail, wrap the cuff around it and snap it in place. I have
incorporated a ponytail elastic onto each one to prevent them from sliding down
and keep them secure, whether you are a barrel racer or an all-day show girl.
They are constructed of a base of garment
weight cow leather and embellished with lamb or pigskin leather or suede,
nailheads or studs, silver conchos or rhinestone buttons, genuine Swarovski
crystals in rim settings, and some even have beads sewn on. Each one is
different, all pieces are securely attached. There is no glue here!
